It’s been a million years since I’ve had a dedicated space like this… but it seems like maybe time. Last year, my reading shifted dramatically when I finally joined NetGalley and started reviewing books in exchange for Advanced Reader Copies. While I’ve been reading and reviewing informally for years, it suddenly feels like time to collect my thoughts on what I’m reading.
I generally read somewhere around 100 books a year. (My numeric goal is always to read two books a week, but I don’t stress about it.) In 2025, I read 119 books, and about 40 of them were ARCs. I gravitate toward literary fiction that leans heavily into genre, and I track my reading to ensure I’m supporting authors from diverse backgrounds and various lived experiences.
My reviews mostly live on GoodReads, and I track on the StoryGraph and my private social media accounts. We’ll see if how this space goes!
